A good surgeon needs to understand her patients goals and objectives. we will review medical history, conduct a physical examination and assess the patient’s suitability for the surgery. we will educate and inform the patient about the problem and go on to explain the different ways in which surgery could attempt to solve it. we will then recommend what we consider to be the best procedure to carry out, taking everything into account. we may also supply literature for separate study.
